Christine Balais runs her own business as a sommelier, and has considerable experience in adult education. Christine Balais is a state-certified sommelier (CC), and also works as a jury member for various competitions and trade tastings.

Christine works in her spare time as assistant to the executive board of the German Sommelier Union and focuses particular attention on training young sommeliers and organising wine trips.
