The IWI corporate philosophy

Our work is directed specifically at the requirements of the participants in our seminars. We are confident in facing the competition, and have set the goal of working honestly, effectively and efficiently, and in an exemplary manner. Our strength lies in the strong practical orientation of the seminars and programmes on offer. Our lecturers are all involved in practical aspects of the wine industry, and contents are brought across using didactic, methodical principles actively involving the participatin of both teachers and customers.

We promote the cultural landscape of wine, particularly in our own region, and promote tourism by making people interested in wine aware of the specific resources of the region.

We utilise our close cooperation ties with other educational institutions and cooperation partners, both in Germany and around the world, in order to develop new international educational programmes, and to arrive at the best possible solutions in all the fields in which we are active.

We place great emphasis on implementing primarily team and project work, and utilise the opportunities provided by modern information technology.

We are not only a centre of learning, but also an institution that is itself involved in the learning process, our highly organised system of interdisciplinary exchange allows us to implement new developments rapidly in practice. In this regard we utilise both our own resources and those of our external cooperation partners.

We document all our activities and work outcomes, and are subject to a continuous process of quality management.
